The state of Florida requires all third grade students to score at or above a Level 2 on the Reading section of the March FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test) to be promoted to fourth grade. http://fcat.fldoe.org/

o Please sign your child’s planner each evening. Thank you very much.

o FCAT Reading 1 – Tuesday, March 9 (Get a good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast.)

o FCAT Reading 2 – Wednesday, March 10 (Get a good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast.)

o FCAT Math 1 and 2 – Thursday, March 11 (Get a good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast.)

o Homework will NOT be assigned, for our class, during FCAT week (March 8-12).

o Third Grade’s production of DIG IT! (A Musical Tale of Ancient Civilizations)

will be held in the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center on April 30.
